ADVANCING EQUITY SCHOLARSHIP TO HELP EDUCATORS DESIGN INCLUSIVE CURRICULUM

Mission Statement

We use data-informed practices, quantitative and qualitative analysis, to customize services that meet the unique needs of educational institutions at every level.

CURRICULUM
&
PD WORKSHOPS

We help schools create institutional changes that address equity needs by offering a signature service. The Institute engages in advanced research to explore what does and doesn't work in DEI work in order to assist K-12 schools, higher education, and other organizations with inclusive curriculum design.

MESSAGING
&
RESEARCH/AUDITS

We help school district leaders respond to legislation and general issues that surface with community messaging, public statements, and speech writing.

We also conduct quantitative and qualitative studies for and about our partners.

INTERNSHIP

STUDENT INITIATIVES

We offer a three-year college- and career-ready program for high school students and a one-year mentorship program for middle school students.

The institute is also proud of its

research-based internship opportunities to high school and college students throughout the year. These opportunities occasionally result in a paid fellowship position.

Additionally, the institute operates an intensive summer research internship that results in a professional publication for our interns.

WHAT WE DO

The Equity Institute for Race-Conscious Pedagogy helps schools address equity needs by providing customized services that lead to curricular and other institutional changes and helps counselors and educators provide students with career- and college-ready programming.

The Institute assists K-12 and higher education instructors with culturally responsive curriculum design. We tailor curriculum writing services to meet the needs of teachers across disciplines.

We also carry as a publishing company committed to testing the boundaries of established educational thoughts. Looking to publish nonfiction, social histories, and critical education theory books, RCP Publishing welcomes proposals on core categories that include K-12, higher education, equity in education, civil rights history, critical thinking, current events, and philosophy.
